It could be because a toddler point of view wouldn't be very much fun to read.

Hah. No doubt. They've done a good job of adjusting ages upwards on the tv series.

It's just a crackpot theory. Either way, I just have a feeling that Rickon has a bigger role to play than has been shown so far, otherwise why have him in the story at all? |

Alright, this week's project (I'm mostly off work) will be re-watching all of seasons 1 and 2 and then season 3 to date (haven't watched an ep so far), hopefully finished in time for Rains of Castamere.

Maybe fat boy will run back and pick up that dragon glass...pretty important item at this point, I'd say.

This season has been ****ing boring. Am I alone in this??

Not boring to me.
Any episode with Dany naked is a good episode!! |

I think the plotlines in the first two books were much simpler, and the show is struggling to keep viewers informed on so many different stories going on at the same time. They are already cutting plots by week, we didn't see any Theon (thankfully), Jon or Robb. This is the first time we've seen Sam in quite awhile. I think they're worried that if they go half a season without a character, viewers will forget who they are when they show them again.
It will be interesting to see what they do with books 4 and 5, because the plot certainly doesn't get any simpler. |
