Long way away just sayin

Especially with a loss on the card somewhere along the way

With a loss and a sec championship game win they get left out just because

What do you all think?

If anything they will get the shaft if you want to call it that because I don't see FSU or Oregon losing this year. Both are ranked higher and a 1 loss Mizzou, even if they were to beat Alabama would have a tough time leapfrogging either of those two teams.

Mizzou is not Bama though. They have neither the history, they are not the two time defending NCs, and did not start the season #1. Bama is probably one of if not the the best teams in the nation and everyone knows it. This is why they could lose one and still get in. Mizzou has by no means earned that type of respect yet. Mizzou still has to climb to #1, any losses all but kill that chance. Bama could still lose and stay Top 5.

Hence me saying Mizzou could beat bama and get the shaft

Understand. I doubt though that Bama gets it if they lose the SECCG and FSU and Oregon win out. But you could be right and a 1 loss Bama might still make it.

Even if somehow MIZZOU wins out they could still get shafted ROFL

BAMA will most likely keep this under control

I disagree with that. If Mizzou wins out they should be Top 5 if not Top 4. A win over Bama in the SECCG would probably propel them into the National Championship game as the media loves the SEC and would be hard pressed to keep a deserving SEC team out.

Impressive string of victories, Mizzou. You certainly deserve credit when its due.

Dude we're not going undefeated so no need to worry.
I am shopping plane tickets to Atlanta though. :)

Nobody is going to get into the title game over a team that beat them head to head... you can't buy that game with influence and ticket guarantees, there isnt some committee to bribe that isnt accountable to anyone.

This will probably work itself out when Oregon inevitably chokes like they usually do

We're probably going to lose to SC or A&M, maybe both.

Assuming we lose one of those and take care of business otherwise we are in the SEC Championship game either way. Assuming again it's Alabama then we lose, and we're a 2 loss team who probably gets into a BCS game. I would take that for sure.

There's no road for us that goes through losing the conference championship game. It shouldn't, not for anyone ever.

I think we will end up dropping the game to A&M and winning the resr, but you can't overlook Tennessee either.

No way that an undefeated SEC team gets left out especially since the SEC has won 7 straight National Championships.
