Saw spring breakers last night. Thought it was going to be a fun little crime thriller. Good God that movie was a piece of shit!

Watched This is 40 and Olympus Has Fallen. Both pretty good, better than expected.

watched Hotel Transelvania with the wife on Saturday; I was actually laughing quite a bit during it.

Whiteboys - I'm watching the movie 'Whiteboys' from 1999 - I don't know the point of this - is this all a joke?

I can't even believe this movie. Please rent it - it's hilarious to watch and laugh - it's not even designed to be a comedy.

Anyone else a big fan of French horror films? I'm a huge fan and recently rewatched a number of really ****ed up ones. Seriously the French aren't good at many things but they get horror. They are not afraid to go all out with the violence, gore and scares.

First up is a film called Inside
Four months after the death of her husband, a woman on the brink of motherhood is tormented in her home by a strange woman who wants her unborn baby.
This film had me on the edge of my seat literally the entire time. I highly recommend checking it out but I have to warn you it's not for the faint of heart.

Next up is a film called Martyrs
A young woman's quest for revenge against the people who kidnapped and tormented her as a child leads her and a friend, who is also a victim of child abuse, on a terrifying journey into a living hell of depravity.
Again its another awesome horror film, but like I said before with the last film, this is NOT for the faint of heart. It's probably the goriest film I've ever seen and scary as shit with an ending that will leave you totally stunned.

I'll add some more later.

Likewise, jump scare are not scary. They're startling.

Horror movies are awesome; gory and crap jumping out at you is not scary.

This is why the horror genre as a whole sucks balls.

Sorry I should of been more clear, yes most of these French horror films that I like are very gory BUT they are also scary as hell.

Another one I'll recommend that has little to no gore is a film called Them. Its about a couple living in a remote rural area and they are attacked by a bunch of intruders. Really intense film.

Getting back to the other two films I was talking about earlier, I still highly recommend them. Yes they are beyond gory but they are some of the most intense scary things I've ever seen on film. Check them out if you can.

I loved both of these movies. I bought Martyrs - I liked it that much and have since shown it to a few close friends. Great movie.

lol I saw it yesterday and I actually thought it was okay. Not Korine's best but enjoyable at least. James Franco steals the show. And it was nice to see Selena Gomez & Vanessa Hudgens in bikinis
