My favorite 70's blackspliotation movie is still Black Dynmate, though it's not being technically blackslpoitation. just a 70's type movies about a black man.

But the first KKK scene might actually eclipse the 'Kansas City pillowbitergots' and "shitload of times"

Also, only at the Brunhillda scene so it Django might eventually eclipse BD by the end, just had to mention BD, wpuldn't put it past with like 7 of my 25 favorite movies.

HOLY SHIT!! 'I've got a name.' Jim Croce.
'I need 100 black prisons.' Rick Ross.

Who knew Tarantino could assemble a soundtrack?

Oh and this just remembered something by this.

EXTREMELY NSFW, thought not for sex

ETA: isn't that write lady on the porch at Sweetcandy the psychic chick that's supposed to be Drew's ex-wife om Justified? Goggins overlap. Already recognized Cutty.

'Searching For Sugar Man'

Phenomenal and heartbreaking story.

Won't say more, including the specific definitions of the two adjectives I did use.

Lives up to the hype. A story you wouldn't believe was possible in this world, but makes almost perfect sense.

BTW, if a James Taylor, Bob Dylan and Simon and Garfunkel are among your favorites, it's a must see IMMEDIATELY. This guy sounded/sounds [watch the effing movie already] and wrote better than all of them IMO.

Company of Heroes was a nice surprise. A bit of a poor man's Saving Private Ryan. Really enjoyable.

Yeah, overall much different than I expected from Tarantino, but just as awesome. Still doesn't eclipse Black Dynamite but that a one of a kind masterpiece. Humor that you barely notice in the background, simultaneous with straightforward humor, with humor inside humor, inside humor.

I'm not sure even now I've caught all the bits.

Watched John Carter of Mars the other night (cp recommendation) It was pretty good. It came very, very, very close to being a cheesy ass Sci Fi movie of the week, but it managed to escape it by <--> that much

End of Watch was ****ing great.

Spoiler!

A problem I had watching it though, was that I had just watched Dark Knight Rises for the first time since the theaters (great, great ****ing movie). The entire movie I couldn't stop thinking about how much Mexican shit Batman would have pushed in LMAO

This.

It ruined the end.

ThaVirus 03-08-2013 12:47 PM

Yeah, I agree with that. I was pretty pissed when they switched scenes and showed his face at the funeral.

It felt like a cop out, in a way.

Just watched The Master which I had been looking forward to as P.T. Anderson's is pretty ****ing good. Very well acted but largely left me feeling very underwhelmed by the end.
