As far as routes from Chicago to Kansas City go, there are basically four - the northern route through Iowa - I-88 to I-80 to I-35. The most direct route for going to the area around the stadium is I-55 to I-72, which turns in US 36 at Hannibal, but remains four lanes all the way across the state until it hits I-35. This will probably have the least amount of traffic after you get off I-55. The third route is through St. Louis, which sucks balls. That's I-55 to I-270 to I-70. Out of the way, heavy traffic, and I-70 is generally pothole hell. I'll only go that way if there is a shit ton of snow in northern Missouri making 36 a poor choice.

The last route is sort of a country short-cut route if you're going to the southeast suburbs, like Lee's Summit. That's I-55 to I-72 to US 54 to US 50. This goes through Jefferson City. With the weather I probably won't go that way since it features about 100 miles of 2-lane highway and driving through Sedalia, but under normal conditions it's the shortest and fastest way to Lee's Summit.

From what I can find the biggest part of the snow will be 36 on north. Here in Columbia we are supposed to get 4-8 and where my parents live North of Brookfield is calling 8-12.

You might want to try swinging south as much as you can, if possible. If you end up getting stuck anywhere close to Columbia I can help you out

So I'm assuming all those pundits that thought the weather was going to nullify the crowd noise have now fallen back to "Well it's Brady and Belichick, can't bet against them".

You're not going to want to take any of the northern routes. Big swath northwest to southeast through iowa and beyond that is expecting anywhere from 8 to 14" of snow.

Watch a spinning top sometime and try to predict where it goes - that's what a 2 week forecast is like. You can kind of guess, but then at the last minute it could do one of those whoopsie-doos and go off in another direction.

Depends man. Last week the roads were great it rained before but didnt get below freezing which helped. I'm thinking since basically the whole country will be in town the roads will get plowed in a timely manor and shouldnt cause any issues.

Leaving CA at 6 am tomorrow. Looks like rain and maybe snow tomorrow night. Is the ground all snowy still? In the city? Trying to plan snow boots versus Merrill’s and jeans/thermal vs Columbia ski type pants.

The ground in KC is a slush grey snowy mix, and it'll be worse after tomorrow. Bring stuff that keeps out water. It should be done snowing here sometime in the afternoon Saturday.

No. They don't have enough tax money to take proper care of the roads because all tax increases must be voter approved. They put a mere 10 cent fuel tax increase that would have been implemented over 5 years on the November ballot and it FAILED. Yet the same morons that voted it down vote to raise the minimum up by several dollars an hour. Idiots don't realize which increase would have helped and which one is doing more harm than good.

Fuel... like fossil fuel? Like the stuff formed by the anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms from millions of years ago?

Makes sense that the fuel tax failed, since fuel doesn't even EXIST!!!!!!!

So does that mean Mr. htismage that the noise level will be equal or better than last week? I can tell you that watching it at home in CA last week, my wife and daughter kept telling me to turn the tv down. It wasn’t me, it was the awesome crowd getting louder and louder! I really hope the crowd tomorrow is as least as loud as it was last weekend! It was crazy loud even on my tv!
