Like the pick actually. Good complementary back.

And this years Darwin award goes to Thompson
|
Wow! 3rd down back/gadget player of this value this late?! Wow!! Way to go Veach
|
This guy looks like a mix of Darren Sproles and Kareem Hunt.
Goddamn does he look like a playmaker. Dude is really ****ing fast. Doesn’t say his 40 time on his draft profile, but he’s gotta be a sub 4.4 guy |
If he kills it this year, we should give him some kind award. Thinking of a good name for it...
|
The Thompson award?
|
The “god damnit Veach he’s not a ****ing CB” award?
|
Tape is impressive. I like it a bunch and wouldn’t be surprised if he translates it to being more than a 3rd down back. Looks like a more powerful runner than Damien Williams to me.
If there was an aspect of the run game the Chiefs missed after cutting Kareem Hunt, it was the ability to break tackles and gain yards after contact. Looks like Darwin can help with that. The flexibility as a receiver is nice, too. |

If he's only going to be used as a DAT-like gadget player for the next year, we've gotten a real upgrade as DAT would go down when you blew on him. |
I think the comparison with DAT and Sproles is extremely misguided.
I love Sproles but this guy is way more of a beast that is hard to bring down. His height and weight are more like Ray Rice, however blasphemous it is to make that comparison. |
Please make his nickname "The Fittest".

Not sure if posted but wow. This guy is really strong
