This is actually a good point. Are we really going to have only 3 active safeties on the roster for the AFCCG (Lucas, Sorenson, Murray) assuming Berry can't go? Maybe they can re-sign Parker in a few days and cut someone else if on Friday it looks like Berry won't be able to go?

I don’t want to go too far out on a limb here but I think this may also mean they believe Berry will be good to go?

Weird that we actually seem to have a few too many decent OL. That hasn't been a Chiefs problem for a while.

This. We probably have the deepest OL in the league.

At guard for sure.

I don't know about at tackle who would play what.

Less laundry when Erving and Harris aren't on the field.

So when Fisher went out one game this year....it was Jeff Allen who came in.

OT - Fisher, Schwartz, Allen
OG - Fisher, Wylie, LDT, McKenzie
OC - Morse, Reiter

I agree. We read it differently. When asked who sits, I assumed that he meant who is inactive, you took it as active, but on the bench. The question could definitely be interpreted either way.

I think that Wiley or Erving would be the swing tackle.

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't mind some draft capital going to OT. It would give us a fall-back if we can't afford to keep Fisher or Schwartz and provide a viable swing-tackle.

The backup tackles on this roster are roooough. And tackle isn't a position where you can plug and play a 2nd or 3rd rounder all that often. So if you grab one now with a year or two to season him, you can have someone ready to actually step in and play come 2020 if the need arises.

I gotta believe it would be Erving given his length. Man that's a terrifying prospect.

The last time that Fisher went out for a couple of plays.....it was Allen who stepped in at LT.
