At Alex Smoths press conference John Dorsey was asked if we would still draft a quarterback and he gave the "well, you can never say never" line and then said "we will just have to see how the picks fall"
To me, that meant we aren't taking a qb at 1 and that we might take one after that, depending on who is available when we pick. On top of that, Vegas recently had their money on Joeckel being the pick. They feel strong enough that you have to bet 3 dollars to win one if you bet that we will draft Joeckel. It's fun to think about, but it's not gonna happen. |
What do 12 year olds on Twitter and posters on CP have in common?
They are the only people on earth that think the Chiefs would seriously take Geno. |

He didn't say that. He said that other teams believe it to be a smokescreen.
Big difference. |
The thing I want to know is who player wise is in the building while he's there? Is he throwing the ball around with Bowe, Charles, Avery, McCluster...? Course Any hasn't had much time with them either, but Chemistry there you would think is a big deal to explore if they are serious.

He did say we would try to trade the pick though...but that's nothing new.
He also said that the Chiefs could take Geno if we trade down and he is still there. |

"But no one believes they will take Geno Smith at #1" "There's one Smith in Kansas City, and as you mentioned, that's probably enough" You = A river Egypt |

It was a presumption based on opinion. Nothing more. |
