How many botched injuries are needed before people stop trusting the training staff?

Lol at this guy comparing those two to Pat ROFL

Mort is hard to look at these days.

Take a gander sometime and tell me he doesn't remind you of a sponge puppet.

I think Mahomes misses two games now, unless they win both.

But I have a feeling someone told him that he's at no further risk of a re-injury if he comes back a week earlier than he would be normally...just because he didn't move and they put it back in place so quickly.

If he came back for Tennessee that would be 3 weeks since the injury. I like it!

This is why KC can't have nice things, and as much as I want him to play sooner as well, I know if that kneecap comes out of place one more time even with a knee brace then we're talking about surgery and the end of the season.

Warrick 10-20-2019 11:47 AM

Not to mention, risk of that same kneecap dislocating more often throughout his career.

I think rushing him back is foolish. Take the time... get the ankle right too. I want him 100 percent going forward. I don't know that this is a super bowl team even with him 100 percent... surely we aren't him less so.

Even more - 24 days.

Totally agree need Mahomes healthy as he can be even if it means giving up on our 2019 season. We need him for the next 15 seasons as healthy as he can be. Hopefully the right knee won't be a problem in his career.

I still think the injury is a blessing. Pat wasn’t going to sit because of a bum ankle, no matter how bad it really was. This injury forces him to sit and heal. It also forces the rest of the team to get their shit together.

This.. If we hear he’s throwing after the Packer game I bet he plays against the Chargers..

**** rushing him back. I don’t care if we go 0-4 over the next 4 weeks (which we won’t)....you don’t bring him back until after the bye week.

How do you or anyone else know what "rushing him back" actually means? Have you seen his MRI results?

You guys are all basing your opinions on what should happen off other peoples opinions who haven't seen the MRI and other injuries and other situations that couldn't possibly be exactly like Mahomes.

Something tells me the Chiefs know how important Mahomes is to the franchise long term.

The field in Mexico City isn’t always lethal for the athletes’ knees, right?
