Do not like losing CJ for any period of time but if he wasn't going to play for Vermes.....I suppose keeping fit works.

Sapong was awesome his first year, then he got exposed.

Reaper16 07-11-2013 09:57 AM

Good. He can use the minutes.

So true. Hopefully he will learn to get comfortable at all three spots up top. Or somewhere else perhaps. A lot of opportunity going to Orlando. 10 games that will likely decide his future with SKC.

9 goals last year is "exposed"? He only started 75% of our games last season (ranking 10th in minutes) and had 5 Game Winning goals. He had a damned good year in his second season (at age 23). His issue is he's not a good winger and is at his best back to the goal... He doesn't fit into Vermes' style at all. They picked up a FWD (Claudio) that is much better fitting into our style of play. Also Kei is back and Zusi is playing further up this year.

I assume he'll probably be traded at some point.

Demonpenz 07-11-2013 10:54 AM

Sapong gets goals off of great service from Zusi and Kamara actually put one right on him last year. For how athletic he looks he actually plays stiffer than what you would think. Great guy to have for a mid table team up top though.

Took care of business today. Gave Bobby Convey the business for being the underachiever he is. Saad, Zusi, Jimmy played well. Besler was beastmode.

You guys, I just saw the highlight for the third goal last night. Whoa, you guys.

Can someone update the original post for Zach? I don't like seeing us in fifth place every time I come in here.

That super-speedy Cuban forward needs to defect to the US.
