Given that the Chiefs and Chargers appear to have top performing QBs for the next 12+ years... Denver should sell out for Watson. The guy is 25, same as Mahomes and has 12+ years left in him.
2021 R1 (#9) 2021 R3 (#71) 2022 R1 (TBD) 2023 R2 Drew Lock - Roll with him or other option 2021... still on rookie contract Von Miller - they just released Watt and Von has 1 year left (https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/denver-b...n-miller-7717/) Tim Patrick - nice WR addition Just put something like that together and let's roll. |

You seriously think Easterby is going to want anything to do with Miller after his antics? |

In other words, it’s not happening. |

Von Miller is not part of the "right 53". |
If Denver realistically wants a shot they're probably giving up 3 first rounders and a couple young defensive studs like Chubb and Simmons
|
I really hope the Texans just refuse to budge. Don't give an inch. Don't apologize. "Watson you play for us or you don't play at all and we'll burn this whole team to the ground before we see you in another uniform."

If I was Denver or SF I’d do it without hesitation.
There is no other option for them. They won’t get a shot at a good QB high in the draft and these guys rarely come around. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, only Carson Wentz is left of first rd QB’s with the team that drafted them from 2009-2016. Soon that will be Patrick Mahomes as Wentz and Watson are probably going to leave their teams and Trubisky just sucks. That’s 9 drafts with only 1 first rd guy on their original team. And guys like Wilson and Dak are a huge outlier to the norm for QB’s past pick 33. If I was Denver I’d give them 3 first rd picks, 2 2nd rd picks and a player. Hell I’d give up Bradley Chubb or Justin Simmons with that compensation. They’re a playoff team next year with Watson and actually have a future. They don’t have shit with their current QB situation. |
Well, yeah, over 20 teams would do it without hesitation.

The teams that have a best shot are the ones with valuable assets (top 3 picks, good young players on rookie deals, etc.) and extra draft capital. A team like the Broncos is going to have to give a ridiculous haul. More than anything people are thinking/saying. |
The Texans are going to trade Watson. They just are.
Yeah they’re a terribly run franchise but even they know that Watson is not answering their calls bc he’s done. They know that if they try to keep him around and make this worse, he’ll tell them to **** off and submit his retirement papers. Then they lose Watson and get nothing. He’ll be traded and I think it will be sometime later in the off-season. |
