There's a second ad with Ethan Peck's Spock that I didn't see, as well.

Either way, seems pretty clear that PP (lol) is treating the show as a tentpole, although I don't know how it can possibly start to air before the end of the year. And I would assume production on s2 of Picard will be finished first.

My point is Discovery without Pike & Co. is pure shit, and even with Stewart, Ryan and the handful of original cast members' cameos, Picard is little better than meh.

Whelp. I'm still watching and enjoying Enterprise. There certainly have been better TV shows recently, but compared to Garbage Trek it's ****ing Shakespearean.

How far are you into it?

I'm a little over halfway into the first season. Since there are only a few seasons and the finale looks crappy I have been in no hurry. Just relaxing, and catching an episode here and there.

Well, you probably need to brace yourself for some bad episodes

It does get better though. At the very least the Vulcan chick is consistently hot.

I'm currently doing a partial rewatch of DS9. I've finally decided that I like it better than TNG.

It's all good. I can stand the cheesiness. I wasn't interested in it in the past but after I attempted to sift through the completely full kitty litter box that is Discovery I needed some other Trek and this has been working for me.

...and T'Pol is pretty freaking hot.

I have actually enjoyed the Andorians (so far) a lot more than I thought I would. In the original series I found them to be annoying as all hell. The really stupid look of them (generic aliens with goofy antenna) didn't help at all. The little shits are growing on me though.

Jeffrey Combs is awesome in Enterprise. He's basically the Andorian equivalent of Gul Ducat, minus the slow descent into madness.

Awwww yiss... same for me but it is a close call between the two.

Watching three seasons of ST Discovery now gives you a new appreciation for how good Enterprise actually was.

Damn this guy needs a lot more subs.

That's probably the best part about Enterprise. The Andorians are now hella cool.

Or maybe just Shran. But at the very least there was some interesting universe-building they did with them, and now they're more than just actors in weird costumes with shitty blue makeup.
