The X-Men might make an appearance, but there is no way all those characters are dead. Nothing is forever when an Infinity Gauntlet is involved.

I dont believe for 1 second they just killed off Spiderman, Dr Strange, Starlord and Black Panther. No way. So that ending didnt hold alot of weight for me. Its all a ruse. I do believe Loki and Gamora are gone though.

The only three characters I feel like that could be permanently dead are Gamora, Vision, and Loki. Even then, I could see them bringing back Vision(as I believe his something involving his brain or memory was separated from his body and preserved) and Gamrora(due to how popular GoTG is).Under no circumstances should Loki be back.

Thor mentioning Loki coming back from the dead was just concidental? Wacanda finished whatever they were working on prior to Thanos arrival. They just put in back in. Gamora fell pretty far but not certain death height wise in movies.

It did look like it was ruined, but he was still able to portal out after the event. And he was apparently able to heal himself when he got to wherever he went, sooo, I don't know. I wouldn't think so; they're basically going to need it to repair everything in part two, I'd think.

My little one was upset with losing black panther and Spider-Man but I told him they’d be back. I thought we’d get more spoiler at the end and even thought we’d get some Adam warlock but I’m pretty sure he’s gonna be in 2. Am I right in thinking that Dr. Strange gave up the time stone bc it was the only path? He mentioned something like 14 million possible outcomes and only 1 of them ending in Thanos being beaten. Seems like that was why he saved Tony.

This was my only thing I questioned in the entire movie. If there was no other reason he gave him the time stone other than... because I didn't want Tony dead then I will be slightly disappointed.

Giving it to him had to be the only way to beat him. I think they needed him to complete the gauntlet so they can in turn use the gauntlet against him. Be it captain marvel or Adam warlock

Rocket is the only one left of the Guardians, well I guess Nebula is too if you wanna get technical. But Steve Rogers, Iron Man, Black Widow, Banner, Thor, War Machine, Hawkeye (I would assume), Antman/Wasp, all team up w/ Captain Marvel for a rescue mission perhaps?

HTF do Iron Man and Nebula get off of Titan? And don't forget about Wong. Does he play a big role in Avengers 4 with the time stone and all of that wizard shit? What secret backdoors does he know? Do the deaths prior to Thanos' finger snap become permanent deaths Loki, Gamora, Vision, or do they somehow come back too?

Of course Marvel didn't just happen to choose who died. They had a reason. But who dies is supposed to be random. Yes, it technically doesn't play out that way. It is what it is. It's more important to note that all of the original Avengers are still alive.

As Dr. Strange disintegrates he says to Tony it was the only way, so he knew he had to give up the time stone, that part is pretty self explanatory.

The one thing I would've liked to see is Starlord not blow away. You could've explored him so much in the next one. He loses everyone in the Guardians (except Rocket) mostly due to his mistakes so he's heavily conflicted, he has to work with Rocket (the two most popular Guardians characters) and the rest of the Avengers which would make for a great redemption/revenge angle, he's dealing with losing Gamora and then his mistake of releasing Thanos and causing the snap to happen eventually, just so much they could've done with him in the next one to give some real heart and laughter to it. The one big gripe I had with the actions of the movie is why did they allow Gamora to go with them to Knowhere to battle Thanos if she just told Quill that she knew something that he would have to kill her for. If I'm anyone on that ship, I'm telling her to sit it out or sending her with Thor, Rocket and Groot. Just didn't make alot of sense.

At the beginning, I was still eating some stuff and took a drink of water. When Stark made the Squidward reference I damn near choked on that water.

When everyone started fading away I was doing OK. I expected it. Bucky goes, no problem. Strange, I can deal. ****ing Spider-Man? No. I about lost my shit. Especially considering the "I don't want to go. Please, sir."

That said, as soon as Black Panther wisped away I knew all of that would be retconned. Starlord and Spider-Man only reinforced it.

How much of a ****ing beast is Thor? Good Lord. He is incredible.

I was pretty stoic throughout the movie but when he came through the Bifrost in Wakanda I just about came. He's slinging the axe, taking out dozens of spacedogs that Cap, Panther and Hulk were just struggling with. Then he crashes down with the hammer- "GIVE ME THANOOOS!" LMAO

Goddamn right. Thor was ****ing beasting in this film, and I thought it was incredible. From him showing up in the Guardians ship, to holding against the full force of a star, to chucking Stormbreaker around killing 2 dozen baddies at a time...
Dammmn... Thor finally showed his power in this film. And revealed that he's 1500 years old. Thor was clearly the most powerful good guy in this film by a huge margin. And Hemsworth nailed it again.

It would have killed if they would have brought back ‘Immigrant Song’ for Thor once he came back through the portal

When he came thru that and started laying waste , it was ****ing awesome. **** I can’t believe we have to wait a year for this ending. I’m gonna need therapy

Maybe just me but I enjoyed the darker cap. I’ve really enjoyed Evans as cap as well. Wish he wasn’t hanging it up but I get it
