It's unbelievable that truly existed. Penalizing a teams fans for cheering? How did that ever get past a stupid idea brought up by the guy who just got fired.

The last time Seattle broke our record, they had a special before the game with some scientist explaining that even though Arrowhead had an extra 10k seats, it doesn't make much of a difference considering that way that the Seattle stadium was designed.

That the 10k plus seats pretty much just makes it somewhat even.

There was some mathematical equations behind his theory. They might be online somewhere.

It got loud last night. Have still been to louder games, namely the last 2 MNF games.

Hello All,
Congrats on the record.
Well done and way to beat the crap out of T Brady and his crap team.

We started that record just for fun, and somehow it turned into a pissing match that we just don't give a crap about.

It looks like it means a lot to you all, so congrats, you got the record, I don't see us trying to reclaim it.
We know where the hardest stadium to play is, and besides, have you registered a 2.0 magnitude earthquake? WE have :)

Hey, beat the douchebag and the rest of his douchy team, thanx!

Mugalug 09-30-2014 11:11 AM

I thought this thread was about a 142 pound defensive back. Kinda disappointed, but the record is cool though.

If it doesn't mean anything to you, then why did you google search our board, create an account, post this incoherent drivel and continue to be logged in to view replies? You made sure you included the bullshit Richter scale stat as well. U mad bro?

Personally, this record is lame but Arrowhead has always been the loudest and one of the toughest places to play. Seattle will win it back when they play the cowboys in week 6. The whole thing is just a PR stunt by the NFL and Guinness.

The earthquake is impressive. But you have to admit your stadium was built to do those things. The seismograph is only a few miles away from the stadium.

I don't think KC has one in the area. Maybe at KU.

Dayze 09-30-2014 11:45 AM

and I don't think it's all that uncommon for a stadium to register.
I think LSU stadium does this one a somewhat normal basis.

Yeah, Seattle claims that's all because of them back in the Kingdome. The douche level of Hawk fans was unmistakable for me tonight. Their pettiness was incredible. I said "You guys just won a Super Bowl and you're wrapped up in this?" They kept coming back with we don't care about the record, while complaining about noise maker apps, 10k more seats, and help from the team on when to scream. It was actually pretty pathetic.

Oh, come on guys. We wouldn't feel any need to remind people of our Kingdome roots and reputation, if we weren't consistently being labeled fair weather fans and being told we've only been doing it for the past few years.

And it's a tad hypocritical for either of our fan bases to comment on how "wrapped up in this" the other fan base is. We're both invested. And both have elements that care a lot, and elements that don't.

How so? Your stadium holds 10,000 more people than ours does. (Note: I am not complaining about it, it's just a fact.) That's your primary advantage compared with our stadium. Our has partial roof segments, that's our primary advantage compared with your stadium. Both stadiums contain rabid fans, and that's our advantage compared to a lot of other stadiums.

Congrats again on winning the record. Someone may try to break it, but I kinda hope we don't. Seattle has been the world record holder twice, and I'm fine with that. I can still be proud of our loud crowd and home field advantage without the Guinness title.
