Caps can't be in that argument. Sabres? No. Canucks? No. Maple Leafs? Maybe.

Nice to Ovi win and Vegas dominate, but man, being a Blues fan is rough.

Throw the Maple Leafs in that mix...

As a resident of Las Vegas for 29 years, it stings. As a fan of the Los Angeles Kings for 30 years, thems the breaks. What a run.

I wasn't able to watch, but glad the Caps brought it home finally. Congrats to Vegas on a hell of a year.

And congrats to OTWP for one hell of a bracket. Man, that's a lot of games picked right. I'll take credit for getting the #2 spot, but it's pretty much only because I happened to pick the winner. The rest was pretty blah.

It was a hell of a run. Until next season.

Thanks!

Good to see a team and fanbase that had waited so long finally win it all.

There are some great stories and pics out there about the Caps night with the Cup in Vegas in the wee hours - good stuff.

A little torn about the Caps winning the cup, glad to see Trotz win it all, and glad Vegas did not win, but wish the Predators had won one first. But its been a long time coming for the Capitals. Congrats to Washington and Trotz, that contract situation will be interesting to watch.

According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, the Avalanche won’t be holding onto Orpik for long. The heavy-hitting 37-year-old will either be flipped to a club looking to add a veteran presence or will have the final year of his deal bought out by Colorado.

COL is going to see if it can help Orpik land in a preferred spot. Whether it is a trade or a buyout, they are prepared to facilitate. By including him in the deal, they only had to give up one pick.
— Elliotte Friedman (@FriedgeHNIC) June 22, 2018

Hell of a nice job in picking up Grubauer.

It's starting to feel like Sakic is figuring shit out.

St. Louis is the most talented city in the US with regards to hockey players.

Change my view.

I don't know where to start, as I'm not even sure what you're trying to claim. Are you saying it's a team of talented players yet somehow always manages to suck? Or are you saying that the players who grow up in St. Louis are particularly talented?

The latter.

There's a town in Minnesota, (I forget the name), that already beats St.Louis. But It's great to see the talent coming out of the mid-west U.S.
