My only bad episode with alcohol came from Absolut Raspberry. The stuff was nasty. I'd say stick to mandrin.

I just found a 22 of miller high life. you might wonder how I gathered so much alchohol but party in KC and St joseph and it seems like I stalk up at my parents house my friends well it just seems i never have beer where I am going to. I'm partial to the Lunar Ale myself. Wheat is delicious..the Bully Porter is good, the Pale Ale is a bit bitter.

I just did something I don't normally do - I made chick drinks.

2 nectarines, cubed
2 peaches, cubed
1 cup tequila
1/2 cup triple sec
1/2 cup lime juice - 3 limes or so
Ice


Puree the fruit in a blender, then add the tequila, triple sec and lime juice and ice. Blend until chick drink smooth, enjoy, make wife happy.

I just want to apologize for everyone who feels they have to clarify.

Sounded good up until tequila.

Substitute rum, I think you'll like it just as well.

RJ, we had a beach house on Long beach Island on the Jersey shore about 10 years ago. I went out and purchased $50 worth of fresh fruit and about a gallon of vodka, we put them in the blender and they were some of the best drinks ever. the only problem was after drinking that much fruit in a 24 hour period we ran out of crap paper the next day. :evil:

made those at BBQ yesterday.

fill blender... Freshly blanched frozen peaches.
Cup - Uma Brazilian Rum silver
2 tbsp - Sugar
1 shot - Grenadine
1 Cup - Orange/Pineapple juice
A little ice.

Heh, no doubt there will be a price to pay. Those are some high fiber drinks. I also served up some jalapenos en escabeche with dinner.. It was an eclectic meal......and heart healthy too! Well, maybe not the ribs.

Maryville Hy-Vee has a surprisingly deep beer section. Yet, I still reach for the go-to: Boulevard Wheat.
