Springfield Bew Co on 10/21 for the Faiders game. Mark it on your calendar.

Almost bought me a sixer of wheat the last time I was in a liquore store. Chickened out though.

Couldn't remember what it tasted like last time I had it. I was drunk when I tried it though.

Well, if you've got to be stuck somewhere, I wouldn't think New Orleans would be too bad.

You guys aren't gonna believe what I drank tonight. Started with Shiner and Blvd Pale.

Took the Blvd Pale into the VFW and got booted out. Finished Blvd on the street and walked back in.

Choices were Bud, Bud Light, Bud Select, Coors Light, Lite, and some other crap. I started with Coors Light. After choking that back I found the bar area and they had Busch Light on draft. I recommend that stuff to beer snobs, it actually has a little bit of flavor.

It's been my utility beer for probably 10 years. It's easy to drink, and it has way more flavor than the Buds of the world. Doesn't give me as bad of a headache as PBR for some reason, either.

That is actually inaccurate. Martinis were originally made with gin. I drink 'em both ways, but a true martini is gin based. And I like mine clean and crisp, fuck a dirty martini.

As for me, here I am....2 and a half years after the original post, and I'm drinking the same precise mix: white russians, followed by a night cap of Boulevard (Bob's47, this time.)

Gin started leading to narsty indigestion about 20 years ago, so Bob Dole usually avoids it.
