I just don’t think the WR needs a DRASTIC fix at this point. I still like Hollywood Brown. I still like Curtis Samuel.

With Samuel, they could just dust off all the stuff they planned to do with Toney this year.

Brown, you dust off the Hill stuff.

If they can find a good price on a guy in that tier AND invest in the draft the room gets a lot better.

What do you think of Darnell Mooney?

I don’t like his as much as Samuel or Brown, but he’d be a good fit, I think.

Can just tell Spags feels like the cover guys open up his entire playbook. We can manufacture pressure with that back end together. But, w/o Chris you still gotta add guys who can win one-on-one.

This is based on nothing but vibes, but the whole tone of our defense seems to have changed since Sneed showed up, starting with the secondary, then permeating to the whole defense.

The tackling has gotten so much better. Guys are flying around putting their bodies in harm's way, because they know every other guy is doing the same thing. It wasn't like that 5 years ago.

I think he's a quiet leader who's the heart and soul of that defense right now. I don't want to lose him, and at the same time I worry about giving Jones' a massive contract that turns out like Berry and Houston.

WR is one of those weird positions where sometimes you find a guy who was buried on a depth chart of stars or didn't fit a system particularly well, you bring them into your place, and they take off.

Not sure if that guy exists in this class, but they may.

Kyle Pitts is a rich man's Jody Fortson. We could use him!

Mahomes magic thumbsed me me down, guys. I just don't know how I'm going to recover. Check on me! I'm not okay.

He's a great 'buy low' prospect.

Spotrac has Darnell Mooney getting 4 for 41 he isn't exactly buy low.

All this team needs is average at WR2 and 3. We just got a perfect test bed and proved exactly that.

But hey, if we're not scoring 31 points/gm then everything is just a complete failure. Nevermind that we'll enter 2024 with a better WR room than the 2022 squad that led the league in every meaningful offensive metric. We have to have Tyreek Hill (or some old ****er like Hopkins who isn't as good as Rice) and THEN we'll be ready to rock...

Don't need a room of Randy Moss type WRs. Just need receivers that are not liabilities in the pass game like Toney and Moore this year.

In this offense Rice is your #1! He almost had 1000 yards receiving while playing less than 50% of the snaps from weeks 1-8

Yeah, I think Spotrac is just drastically, drastically off on what Mooney will get as a FA.
