It’s actually a good idea. Jags don’t even use Robinson. Maybe they would be open to a trade.

Maybe Cleveland would be interested in trading Hunt.

Mile High Mania 09-20-2021 08:01 AM

Hard to say, but if Hunt level production is the goal… yeah, he’s a JAG. Only 3 games over 70 yards rushing is not special. However he is not in an offense where he is expected to be a 100+ yard rusher, unless they revert to him with a big lead and so far that has not been the situation.

CEH is far from terrible, but he is no Hunt.

He's probably still better at his job than Frank Clark is at his.

Flying High D 09-20-2021 08:05 AM

On the bright side, if CEH ever went to kick someone, that person would be six blocks away by the time CEH got there.

CEH IS good in space against defenders.

He just lacks the burst that makes a RB great. He has no more burst than Darrel Williams.

He should be a third-down back.

If we were using baseball WAR stats for him he would have a - in front of the number. He is currently below replacement level. Latavius Murray just picked up off the scrap heap looks notably better.

I cannot think of a single thing that Clyde does well as referenced above.

Right.

He wasn’t overdrafted or anything. If he wasn’t drafted by the Chiefs he would have been gone a few picks later.

Compared to guys picked after him:

D’Andre Swift is hurt a lot

Jonathan Taylor is ok, but hasn’t proved anything yet either.

CEH looked faster last year before the injury.

2nd round guys: Swift, Taylor, Akers, Dobbins, Dillon
3rd round guys: Gibson, Moss

Which guys would you rather have over CEH? Right now, most people are gonna say most if not all of those guys if they were healthy

Swift is probably the most talented.

What does CEH bring to the table?

He doesn't know, he's too short to see over the top of the table.

Hoover 09-20-2021 08:23 AM

I didn't like the pick when we made it.

On paper it makes a ton of sense, but in reality I think we would be just as well off if we were running Damien Williams, Darrell Williams, and on this team, I think Jerick McKinnon could explosive. Every time he's on the field he shines.

We over invested in the RB position, and it shows.

When he finally gets to the table the food is cold.

ChiTown 09-20-2021 08:25 AM

He lacks vision and speed. There's a ton of RB's in this league that can do what he does.....so yeah, he's becoming VERY JAGish

Ming the Merciless 09-20-2021 08:26 AM

never thought I'd wish for dexter mcCluster back

He's looking a lot like Kevin Faulk right now.
