What’s up with the scooter sharing thing?

I’ve heard a lot of cities don’t want them. I guess there been a lot of accidents with pedestrians, cars, etc....

They are huge in college towns. You can't walk 5 feet In Tempe near ASU and not see 40-50 at a clip. There are about 4-5 different companies. Some are really damn fast.

I also forgot about Grubhub, Postmates and Task Rabbit. I've not used any of those.

I live in the country and don't play well with others so this "sharing" crap is just that, crap. It's just another step towards socialism only instead of the government owning the scooters it's an intermediary. If you live in town go for it but don't try to push you sense of "do-gooder" on me. As a friend once said "you can borrow everything but my truck and my wife. Truck is old, wife is young and you might throw a rod in either one".

Some of these sharing services are individuals and others are companies. You pay for the services and no one is making you pay, unlike the government. :shake:

I think your analogy is way off.

None of them. I don't like other people touching my stuff. Any of you homos try to touch my stuff, I'll kill ya.

Not completely, it's helping do away with private ownership of transportation in cities.

I’m afraid to ask what this means

Operate a grain drill to seed a wheat crop for other farmers in the area.

NOTE: this is not me, but that's fairly close to my setup other than my cart is a tow between instead of tow behind.

Hey, you seem to know how to ride a bike. What are the pros and cons?

And I assume you just get the rear-view-mirror helmet when you buy the bike, right?

I'm probably about 3.5 hours from you. If you ever get in a bind give me a shout. Grew up on a farm but never dealt with anything that big but they all have a throttle, clutch and a hydraulic lever or 2.
