I've been to the airport in Munich, does that count for anything?

Never been there but my Wife is from Regensburg which is Not too far away.

Isn't that where that huge old Cathedral is and a very old bridge? We went there, it was amazing. I think they were both over a thousand years old or something like that.

Frankfurt Airport - Doctor Mueller's Sex Shop - blew my mind in the early 70s.

I can see why.

Not too far from Roding we had dinner and beer on the Rhine River, by far the best beer I have ever tasted in my life.

My host ate carp though, I couldn't even look, but there was plenty of interesting stuff to look at. :D

Welcome to the Planet by the way!

Yeah, you are probably right. I just googled it and it isn't even a thousand years old yet, lol. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regensburg_Cathedral

All of my military time was spent in Westpac so europe is very new and interesting to me. :D

Rode on a ski lift once with a German guy and I asked him if he liked the Scorpions.

He got a big smile and said he was neighbors with the Rudolf Schenker. They went to school together and were still friends. At one point, helped Rudolf's little band that used to drive his Mom crazy from all the racket, set up equipment for the first few gigs.

I asked if he thought they would end up one of the biggest rock bands in the world and he said "no". But Rudolf never had any doubts.

Small world. A German guy skiing met a kid, that watched his neighbor's band from the 5th row- 25 years later after he carried their equipment to a gig with 5 people.

 The Scorpions are the greatest German Export ever. But this is only my opinion.
