Interesting twist in the end of tonight's episode, going all the way back to the original series pilot. :thumb:

Yeah who's ever composing the music for this season is really overdoing it when it comes to trying to spice up dramatic bits in the story.

Anyway, good episode last night. Loved the Georgiou and Michael scenes; was somewhat annoyed by Tilly's bits.

Tilly and Stammets are always annoying.

I love all things Trek but after sticking with the first season and watching the first couple episodes of season 2 I’m just not feeling it.

Stammets can be interesting if they worked the 'guy who really doesn't want to ****ing be there but is too crucial to let him go away' angle.

Probably deserves its own thread.

Production just started on new ST series centered around Picard. Set a decade after ST:Nemesis

I have no idea why, but this video reminds me of old school Ultra Peanut back when she was Psicosis.

You should take that as a compliment.

i'm just sad it's not going to get more appreciation because syncing up geese with goldsmith is legendary in my mind

it's just sad they couldn't be screen accurate with the model

This show keeps getting better and better. Really enjoyed tonight's episode. :thumb:

Same. And I'm even starting to accept their approach to canon, which is a little like how comic books approach it. Events are canon in broad strokes, but details and look can change with the times.

Loved how the worked Airiam's original actress back into a speaking role... Namely because she's also the hottie prostitotty Havelock was meeting with in The Expanse.

Great episode. Hard 8 out of 10.

So disappointed this is all we'll see from Mount as Captain Pike. Dude is flat out acing the character. Loved how he had to lay down the science on Saru which is now funny to me since post-'incident' Saru is now the 'alien character serving as a mirror to the audience' a la the Ferengi in DS9.

Spoiler!

I give it a soft 6 out of 10. There were some inconsistencies that seemingly were asspulls to keep the plot moving and I was super disappointed with the score blatantly ripping off the Interstellar soundtrack in very similar circumstances between a scene from the movie and the episode last night.
