We've met some new characters, witnessed zombie slaughter, and, possibly my favorite of all, dealt with random marauders.
I've enjoyed the tension of this episode. |
So Abraham, Mullet Man, and Walking Dead's own version of Laura Croft just turned this from a really good show into a B-zombie movie.

The thing I'm not digging is that we're almost halfway into the 2nd half and we're moving at a snail's pace and still at character development. At the rate we're going they will all meet up and confront something big in the season finale. This will result in us having to wait another 6 months for elaboration. That's kind of frustrating.

This episode was much more familiar and enjoyable, it had the same rhythm as the older shows... what did I hate?
Rick not killing that sleeper above him and nabbing his weapon, the guy and his crew were obviously dangerous and unstable based on them fighting with one another like they did... why not take the sleepers weapon since you have the high ground on his buddies and tell everyone to clear out? |
Sometimes I wish I could come to this thread and not have to read people bitching about this show. If you don't like it don't watch it.

The zombie genre is a "b" movie genre, no mater how good the special effects, star power, or writing. Doesn't mean we can't enjoy them.
Unrelated: It sounded like there were walkers inside Ricks house (he just left) which allowed him to get away unseen. Where did they come from - or was it the guy Rick killed in the bathroom and possibly the other guy that got choked? |

Yeah, he killed the pooper, and then he cracked the door open so that when he turned he would go out after the other guys.
