I think most were waving for first aid.

I walk 5+ miles in the 105 degree Florida sun regurally. In my 9 years down here, I don’t remember ever being that hot as it was at that game.

No idea. I know of 4 on here that I think most had Mrs. with them that are members here that I don't remember meeting. The Mahomes family hanged out for quite a while. They took pics with everyone. I was the host/bodyguard and head drink fetcher, so I missed a lot of mingle time on Sunday with the CP'rs.

Great job putting it all together. Me and the Mrs. had a great time. And always look forward to Glory Days on Sundays

We had around 1000 Chief fans attend last time and raised $15K for charity. Everyone had a great time etc.

For those of you planning ahead, the same KC BBQ team, professional event planner, sponsors and Arrowhead South are planning to replicate that success in Miami and Tampa Bay next year when the Chiefs travel to Florida twice.

We are expecting a lot more people this time since our successful events last year, the word spread around Chiefs Kingdom about how cool it was, run well etc.

The Buccaneers and Dolphins reached out to us within a week after the game about their games next year. We are already planning next years tailgates and charity events with the Dolphins and Bucs front office at the VP level. We are also going to coordinate with the visitors and convention bureau and the local hotel associations to get Chief fans some deals while they are visiting.

We have started the preliminary plans for the Chiefs game tailgate and events in Jacksonville.

The Jaguars fondly remember our tailgate and working with us. So far, they are cooperating with us to work together to raise some money for charity.

Last tailgate in Jacksonville for the Saturday night MVP event and the Sunday tailgate we raised $15K total. $5K went to the Patrick Mahomes foundation(our choice). $5K went to the KCBBQSociety’s charity(they serve underprivileged youth in KC) and $5K went to the Jaguars choice, the Nick Foles charity.

Pat Mahomes sr. and his family showed up surprising all of us. Pat took pictures with it seemed, 100’s of Chief fans. Couldn’t have been nicer to us fans.

Trying to improve on a tailgate that many consider the best tailgate ever is a high bar. But, we are going to give it a shot.

Expect the NFL 2023 schedule release date to be on or around May 11. Rumor is that it will be a night game.

What ideas do you have to improve the tailgate and events?

I plan on going, but I really hope it isn’t a night game, unless it’s like Thanksgiving or Christmas week.

**** a day game in early Sept. in Jacksonville.

I’ve been in Florida for 12 years. I lived in the Middle East for 1.5 years. 6 months in the desert by the Dead Sea, including all summer.

None of those were ever as hot as the last time the Chiefs played a noon game in Jacksonville. And that’s the opinion of most who attended.
