007, I told dad about the tailgate yesterday. I'm sure he'll say something to the grill master, but you might mention something to Dedicated Fan to mention whenever they talk over what everyone's bringing. I told dad he'll need to double up on the peppers...lol.

In all seriousness folks, take care of yourselves and enjoy the game. Hopefully you'll get to leave early :-p |

Come to think of it, I walked right thru your tailgate (or one identical to it) during the ravens games. I remember using that white tent as a direction marker to get back to where we parked.

What is everyone planning on bringing to eat?

Regarding the panel, I'm working on something that may work. I'll know more tomorrow. |

Thinking about calling up Hurts Donuts to see if I can get a couple dozen Boston Cream donuts decorated Chiefs style.

I've had it in mind to try that stuff and never do. Fat Tire Amber Ale is quite good as well but that's not local.

I may have to break out the good bourbon to bring to the CP tailgate if I'm gonna have to make a good first impression on some of you.

Just found out dad is sick and considering putting his tickets up for sale. If I end up not going, I'm going to be so bummed.

Well, I've got some thermal socks and some insulated overalls coming from Amazon, so I should be good to go now. I'll look like an idiot, but at least I'll be warm. :D

Or anyone else, for that matter. I'd rather look stupid and be warm. |

Years ago I went to a preseason game at Lambeau. It was a warm August day, and everybody was wearing shorts and t-shirts. I was amazed by how little room there is on the bench for the seats - I was already crammed in, and then informed that the only reason I had as much room as I did was because one season ticketholder was absent because she was too pregnant to attend. And the average Packer fan ain't exactly thin. Can't imagine how they'd be jammed in there on a day like what we're about to face, and they get them often. Glad Arrowhead has actual seats. |

Added to the OP...
There is going to be pulled pork, chicken, burnt ends, three slabs of ribs, and most likely burgers and brats. Not to mention any sides people bring. Sides are probably the only real need left at this point. We are good on donations at this point. It will help with the food and some extra beer. There can never be enough of that right? :) I have to say, this place is full of so many great people. I can't wait to meet the new faces and see some old friends. |
