I don’t understand this obsession with some people of forcing them to sit past what’s necessary. If they’re cleared and the reinjury risk isn’t really going to change if they sit out any longer, then they need to strap em up.

That's what we said the last time before we played him through a groin injury that probably was a big reason he missed so much time. Yeah there's a point where it may not get much better week to week. Feel like mahomes is there. But I'm not rushing fisher out there till he's ready. We've already made that mistake once before

Then he had surgery and it was to be about 4 weeks, its been 7, I think they are already doing what you posted.

I'm not opposed to him playing or not playing. I'm commenting on the "if he says he can play, he should play." we said that last time and he clearly wasn't ready yet. We also tried to bring him back last week and he tweaked his core. So with him it doesn't hurt to be a touch more cautious.

Serious question.

Is there a benefit to having guys sustain minor injuries during the regular season as long as you still win your division?

For instance, the following has happened:
-Role players and rookies have gotten meaningful playing time that they might not have gotten
-Star players have fresher legs for the playoffs
-There will be very limited film on what this team looks like at full health
-Andy doesn’t blow his load early in the season

I don't think you could ever convince me that it's a good thing overall (it would be great to just get through the season 100% healthy), but I do think there's some merit to the idea that the team will be better overall in the end having gone through a lot of adversity.

No. We've basically lost three games we would have won if the team hadn't been a ****ing M*A*S*H unit all year. The Cheatriots will end up backing into hosting another championship game because of it.

That punch to the back of the head at the end there...I'm glad he has that in him.

I’m happy he’s back practicing but I don’t expect him to play till the Chargers game... Just think it will be another week..

Cant help but think we are getting guys back at a great time

especially with the Bye week coming soon. its a good thing the Chiefs got a late in the season one.

Sofa King 11-08-2019 10:13 PM

There any update on when he might play?

MMXcalibur 11-08-2019 10:24 PM

I would have much preferred that Fisher come back along with Mahomes.

I wouldn't trust Cam Erving to protect my goldfish, let alone my franchise quarterback.
