I've done the Lime Bike thing a few times, that's about it. And that was just because i was looking for a different way to get some exercise lol.

What’s up with the scooter sharing thing?
I’ve heard a lot of cities don’t want them. I guess there been a lot of accidents with pedestrians, cars, etc.... |

At least that's the vibe i've gotten here in San Diego. Communities such as Coronado, Del Mar and La Jolla are passing ordinances to ban them from their streets. While Central San Diego has them on damn near every corner and used regularly. |
1. I've been using Airbnb/VRBO on my house in Denver since 2015 and now pays for all of my house expenses, including mortgage. I also use those services when I travel.
2. I prefer Lyft over Uber since it's typically cheaper, drivers are nicer, and they give me the occassional 50% off rides for two weeks like what I have now (used it last night to go to the plaza in KC). 3. I used Turo once and had a good experience with it. Some owners jack up different fees so it takes more examination than originally thought. |

Even when one company moved into MPLS-the council ACTUALLY DEMANDED they remove them because they did not have a license to do business in the city. People are getting injured like crazy on the scooters. ER visits went way up after they were introduced. Small wheels hit large cracks. https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2018/...orth-the-risk/ https://minnlawyer.com/2018/06/13/pe...-their-sights/ One of the suburbs close by allowed lime bikes. Only during the summer months. It is a trial basis. I would like to know if they stop at the city border. Because if I would find that thing in my yard, it is going straight to the scrapper. |

I'm actually kind of intrigued by them, and society might be better off if everyone used them instead of cars. But there are some bugs to work out. |
I was in San Francisco shortly after the scooter craze hit. People were riding them on the sidewalks at 10+ mph weaving in and around pedestrians.
If the only way to prevent that is to prohibite scooters, I'm 100% for prohibiting scooters. |
I leave pubic hairs on every urinal I visit. It's my way of ensuring that the janitors of the world always have work.
