League execs don't have a vote, and the vote doesn't even happen until the end of the regular season.

Doesnt really surprise me. Pioli hitched his wagon to Mark Cassel and went down with him. Seems like most NFL execs dont know much about football, but sure know how to make teams money. Hell they have hundreds of the best people telling them what to do when it comes to player personnel. They just get to pick who the team ultimately picks up, but most of them try to be the smartest guys in the room and go against the general consensus.

I’m more worried about Phyllis than Brees at this point.
