You'd think even HE could do that. ROFL

The only reason they even attempted one was the muffed punt.

I think they would have if Hill and Charles didn't drop passes in critical spots and Harris didn't get a phantom holding call that was ridiculous...

Also, and about the game.. I think it was a perfect example of 2 things.

(1) how well Smith can play when others do their jobs adequately.. and that goes for the playcalling also.

(2) how Smith is not a QB that can play perfectly to carry an utterly shitty situation around him.

Bullshit

It wasn't 'utterly shitty ' ...he just failed. 22 points isn't utterly shitty....we didn't score in the second half...

He is to blame also...that was a pretty average scenario.....he got the ball back several times....coyldnt score. The end

He could barely gain yards, let alone score.

I'm not sure KC gained 50 in the 2nd half.

This is what we're used to. This is what Alex does frequently. Good Alex in one half, bad Alex in another.

It's not always a good first half and a bad 2nd half. Sometimes he puts up 30 yards and 1 first down in the first half and then drops 200 in the 2nd.

What he frequently fails to do is play well for an entire game. One can pile up excuses, but this is a trend he's demonstrated for a decade.

Good to know she came back, Clay. Still doesn't erase the drop you took.

Now back to the OP.

Shit this turned into therapy session really fast. I'll allow you to have your safe space.

You spent last season crying to the mods whenever someone insulted Alex, dude.

This was your safe space for two years, it hasn’t come close to reverting the other way since the switch.

Yay another thread about me.

The truth is while you've given credit to Smith (at times) you've always found ways to make them back-handed compliments.

Yesterday was another fine example of CP having a meltdown over QB play when there was more to it. But going back a few years ago when it was ALL Alex's fault around here, CP is finally making strides in watching the games more objectively.

Here's an example: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=303901

Do you think you are objective? That's what I find ironic about all your posts. You call other people out for being exactly what you are.

George has been on the mark all season & can't wait for his ten things every week.

Smith played like an MVP candidate in the first quarter, but then the Titans made adjustments, and we never were able to answer them. That's not primarily on the quarterback, but it does show that he's not good enough on his own to carry a team to the next level.

But next year there will be no doubt who our QB should be, and the focus will finally shift to what's really limiting the Chiefs' ceiling - an overrated roster and a tragically limited head coach.

its not that they even made adjustments, we made adjustments when there was no need for it. we stopped attacking. their whole ****ing motto for the game was attack everything and they ****ing turtled up in the 2nd half. They werent taking shots downfield, Andy went full reerun.

cooper barrett 01-07-2018 05:40 PM

Andy would never do that at a buffet why on the field???
