It takes 3 yrs to learn Sutton's defense.

WTH ?

We have to trade to get somebody and the team has to be willing. How are they going to learn Sutton's D quicker than a rookie?

Granted, most rookies do have to get use to a more sophisticated scheme where vets can pick up quicker. But it does not mean that they will pick it up well!

The quote I saw about learning the defense was from someone on the team from an interview. Said it takes 2 years. I will try to find the interview

But there are some members here that will believe this type of stuff.

It's one thing to logically speak about potential trades, draft picks, etc. To fill the heads of some of these airheads on here with that idea, to go along with their ridiculous takes is like feeding the dumb.

Could you imagine that?

Sutton goes in for an interview and is like well guys I'll be your DC but our defense won't be good for 3 years because that's how long it takes to learn it. Also, we can't bring in new players.
