So Eric Berry goes from playing on a very restrictive snap count in the two previous games that he played in, to then sitting out another three week, and comes back to play 97 freaking snaps?

Can Andy/Sutton explain/justify that strategy?

Yep, the typical recovery time for his rumored injury is 6-8 months and we know to always take the over on the recovery time for an Eric Berry heel injury.

He'll be limited if he even practices at all at training camp, he won't play in any preseason games, and the "Day to Day" dance starts again Week 1.

That one does, think about how everything with him has played out, he got the owner to give him a contract when the GM wouldn't.
