Building a respectable collection in the new house. Still doesn't hold a candle to what sitting in the STL house but pretty pleased with it.

I'll drive anywhere for good bourbon.

But no one wants to see me right now. I was exposed to 2 more positive co-workers this week, who both have moderate symptoms. Maybe in 2021!!!

It's REALLY good, but full disclosure, it's a store pick. So I can't vouch for anything you get in KC.

I was hesitant because I HATE Jack Daniels. But the guy that hooks me up at my local place let me sample it. I'm actually drinking it right now.

By then, I better be living in Tempe, if not South Scottsdale or Arcadia.

65 miles RT to the office is breaking me.

Shitty commutes definitely aren't worth it. Both of those areas rock and I'd be happy to meet up in time. Keep posting here until then!

Hmm interesting because I've seen it around here and was always curious. I'm going for a bottle of that EH Taylor for the fights Saturday

OnTheWarpath15 07-11-2020 12:10 AM

In Vegas for the weekend, just had Weller Full Proof for the first time.

I need to win big so I can buy a bottle.

cooper barrett 07-11-2020 05:06 PM

Save your money as a bourbon date with Lewdog could get expensive when it gets to hotel rooms and towing fees

While I thumbs upped this post, Heinz is the best ketchup around, this may be the only thing the GOAT QB is wrong about. Well... and putting it on steak.

He actually originally said his favorite ketchup was Whataburger. I don't think he ever claimed Hunt's was best until they hired him. Heinz probably opted out because everybody already knows Heinz is really the best. It's like Pepsi hiring Michael Jackson and everybody loves the TV commercials while they drink Coke.

I think it is privately labeled as Whataburger.

Sports starting at 9am out here is a great rationalization. And being old, the evening is for hydration so I can still be in bed on time. LMAO

I personally like to keep it light though.... a 9% IPA or something with some citrus to it like a whiskey sour or bourbon punch.

I was at a store laat night and picked up old grand dad. For whatever reason it's been near impossible to find around here lately.

From their Facebook page -

It is with heavy hearts that we bid adieu to one of our dearest products, Yippee Ki-Yay. Yippee Ki-Yay first hit the stand to commemorate Repeal Day on December 5th, 2015 after a successful run in our Barrel Select Program. Through this RnD program, we decided to play around with our High West Double Rye! and finished it in Syrah and vermouth wine barrels, thus Yippee Ki-Yay was born. It was a tough decision but due to a shift in focusing our portfolio, Yippee Ki-Yay has been discontinued. If you get the chance to snag one - be sure to rejoice in your good fortune. For many of us, this is a bittersweet farewell, but with every goodbye gives way to a new and exciting hello. We can't wait to share with you what we've been brewing up- stay tuned whiskey aficionados! #drinkhighwest

Yippee Ki-Yay is weird stuff. I've had some store pick Double Ryes in manhattan barrels that were really, really similar. Super herbal.

They are both very good. The higher proof 1920 absolutely has more complexity to it (chocolaty notes) and a greater finishing bite.

I'd say mostly. Something things, on certain days, just taste funny or different than they used to.

My smell is most definitely not back. I was cutting onions for dinner and my wife came in complaining about the smell. I was barely smelling them at all and couldn't even catch the smell on my hands afterwards. I am still on diaper duty too as most things I cannot smell unless I stick my nose right up to it and well.........
