I don't know. I like Gerard Butler, but from the trailer it seems like a normal guy who gets shafted and then goes all James Bond/Joker to preposterous levels from behind bars. I'd have to know first that it's not over the top stupid.

I was expecting something more sinister towards the end, instead I got some sort of life lesson that fell short on me. Plus, the kid playing the rat had some annoying mannerisms that was a poor attempt at being quirky. And Mary, I would've liked to have seen a little more.

I actually agree with you on the rat. That could have been played out better. That character was a bit tacky. The rest of the flick I really didn't have too much of a problem with.

It gets far worse. The first 20-30 minutes or so (before he learns what is going on) were about the only thing decent that it had going for it.

Just saw paranormal activity with the gf.

*sigh* not as scary as you have heard. they do alot of things right, but the ending is not one of them. Just like Quarantine, if you have seen the trailer, it spoils the ending for you.

Save for a rent.

2 outta 5. (would a been a 4 outta 5 with a decent ending)
