I'll second this one, even if you are not a fan of docs (I am) I think you would enjoy it. It is a graphic subject so be aware of that.

Does anyone else own, 'A Snake of June', or am I just a complete weirdo?

I'm looking forward to Trick 'r Treat. Movie blogs have been buzzing about it forever, and it's finally getting a DVD release Oct. 6th.

It looks like a fun thrownback to the 80's anthology movies. (Creepshow, etc.)

When all is said and done, Trick ‘r Treat ranks alongside John Carpenter’s Halloween as traditional October viewing and I can’t imagine a single horror fan that won’t fall head over heels in love with it. There’s just one problem: Warner Bros doesn’t give a shit. For two years, the studio has refused to release this little gem, while it continues to crank out unwatchable bottom-of-the-barrel dreck like Return to House on Haunted Hill and Lost Boys: The Tribe. This is one of the biggest injustices to our beloved genre, and in a perfect world, Warner would be put on trial for crimes against cinema. Come what may, movie lovers finally have something worth getting excited about and it’s great to see that real talent can still slip through the cracks.

Take my man card, Ally McBeal comes out on DVD tomorrow.

I don't care. It was a really good show, especially the first 2-3 seasons.

You just like the wistful Vonda Sheppard scenes/songs.

Of those, I guess I'd say Cabin Fever. Never seen Crazy Eights or Satan's Playground.

Check out Trick 'r Treat after the 6th, though. :D

GENERALLY, when i choose horror flix, i go cheesy, i just like a 'B' feel to a horror flick. my favorite horror flick ever was Terror-Train w/ Jamie Lee Curtis, I remember watching it in Frontenac w/ my teh ghey cousin after our families would eat Chicken Marys. Man, those were the days.

Simply Red 09-28-2009 07:10 PM

Also, has anyone seen A Snake of June? I own it, but have yet to watch it.
