Doubt whatever else you’d like about Smith but don’t doubt his heart.

Like the guy as a person but I hope Andy never looks to hire him to do any coaching. His entire gameplan when he QBs is 30 years outdated.

Nice to see him make it back today. He deserves it.

Congrats Alex....however, this was exactly how I felt watching him...

I remember Dak turning his ankle towards alex smith telling his son that Alex was one tough QB.

CarlosCarson27 10-12-2020 10:00 AM

Ok , but he comes back the same day Dak goes down and no one questions the secrets of the universe? Amazing apathy/ignorance

I didn't hate him as a person. Great individual. I hated we have the contract to him when we knew he could never put the team on his back and win when it counted.

Moot point. We have the mahomes now and a superbowl. Hope he can do well elsewhere.

I didnt get to see any of that Washington game. Did Alex have to get ouside the pocket and scramble any?

Lol there's no such thing as a coincidence.
And come on.. he broke it on the same calenders day as Theisman. People just shut their minds off when they turn on the TV. So sad.

And what the hell will Redskins become anyway?

rabblerouser 11-16-2020 07:49 AM

So...did I see that Alex Smith threw for 390 yards, 0 TDs...and lost on a last second FG?

Yes.

Don’t care If he loses every game. He still gets comeback player of the year. Incredible story.

Yep. Came back from a 21-3 deficit and drove his team down to score with 16 seconds left in regulation. Chase Young decided to rough the passer to help move Detroit into field goal range to kick the winning field goal as time expired.

He actually moved around better than I thought he would be able to with that piece of hamburger below his knee. He missed a few throws and Washington's offensive line sucks balls, but for what he has come back from it was a pretty impressive performance.

You know what sucks?

There's still talking heads out there that would vote for someone else solely because Alex is on a losing team.
