I did not.

You can't see their quads, hams, or glutes. WTF kind of competition is that?

A competition to see who looks like the most buff surfer dude. duuuuuuh!

It also lets a lot of them skip leg day on a regular basis.

physique =/= bodybuilding They've always worn board shorts. They are more after the lean/model look.

Thanks! Right now, fat loss is still my main goal. I've posted my workout routine somewhere in this thread. I have one day with squats, one day with lifts, and one day with bench. My lift day includes deficits and hip lifts, along with some dumbbell Romanian dead lifts. My squat day includes some single leg leg presses, which helps with my hammies. My trainer does compete, so I trust him to steer me in the right direction in order to meet both goals. I'm not sure if I want to get into to really get into it, or if I want to just at least try it. I will at least try competing once, and, who knows, maybe I'll catch the bug.

If he really does, I'm sure he will have you performing those movements with more frequency. A lot of the tried & true 'strength' programs have you perform those 3 movements on the same day, usually 3x week for the reason that you will need to hit them on meet day in that order also. Might as well get used to that. :D

Since I'm getting into heavier weight (for me) on my squats, we've been working on pause squats with lighter weight. Just to make sure my form is perfect and I have that "explosiveness" coming back up. Also the same reason for the deficits to help my dead lift "explosiveness".

I've never heard of a physique competition for men

forgive me for not keeping up with the thread

I just remember there being "bantamweight" and "lightweight" categories

other than abs this guy is pretty average. No upper body.

Cut a bit more and you are golden. *cough* anavar*cough*

I know physique is when they where the speedos and pose in a bunch of different positions to show off the body bumps. :) I kind of always thought that's what bodybuilding was for, so I'm not sure what the difference is there either. Learning a lot of new things today!

It's something I think they've just started in the past several years. There is even a Men's physique at the Olympia now... They break down categories by height. It gets more people involved since we aren't all monsters genetically. I think there are now 4 types of comps for women now also. Bodybuilding(which is pretty much dead), physique(a little muscle), fitness(lean with defined abs), and bikini (SI SS cover girls)

you've got it backwards. Bodybuilding competitions are in speedos, judging on over size/volume for your weight class. Physique competition is more of a 'model' look, hence the posing in board shorts. Its why a lot of them just focus on upper body and don't train legs at all, since your not judged on them.

Is it the same type of cough as nicking a vein and getting a little test/oil in your blood? I've had a little cough from TRT, thought I was going to die, but goes away after a minute or so.

Yeah, it's just like that but it lasts longer.

My coughing fits would last 10 minutes or so and it wasn't from nicking a vessel.

It was clearly the tren.

I made it pretty concentrated (100 mg/ml), so that might have been a factor as well. Maybe I should have diluted it a bit, but I was doing ED shots so I wanted the lowest volume I could get.
