I mean, it's not out of the realm of possibility.

I'm skeptical thats the case, but who knows.

If I'm giving up picks, I think I would much rather give them up for someone like Tunsil.

This draft has some good OTs in the first three rounds. The downfall is that none of them are without issues. So you just find the one that has the issues you can deal with and fix.....and draft that guy.

I still think they're going CB at #31 and wouldn't be surprised at all if they didn't take a LT in the first 3 rounds, which would cause this place to melt down.

I don’t see any way they don’t take a LT in the first 3 rounds.

The only way that happens is if they’re going to trade for somebody before or after the draft.

The biggest issue I've read and watched is that I'm not sure very many of them really end up playing LT.

Someone in round 2 or 3 will for sure, just hope we pick that guy.

LT is just such an important piece, I'd say they've pretty much gotta take one in round 1 or 2.

Unless they have other plans.

Veach seems to be zagging when everybody thinks he should zig. I'm not saying the should pass on a LT or even that they will, I just wouldn't be shocked is all.

That's just the thing:

The top guys are too expensive. Trading up to 12 would be cost prohibitive. Our only hope there is Darrisaw falls.

The guys likely to be available at 31 all have starter ability to but lower athletic ability - you could get an Eichenberg or a Jenkins and have them start Day 1 but are they really long-term, top flight LT's?

Which leaves me thinking that 63 is the pick. A guy like Little, Brown, or Forsythe has the physical upside to be a really good pass blocker. They just need time and work.

If forced to choose one of those 3, I'm taking the last one every time.

Oh for sure. If they stand still at 31, i highly doubt it's for a tackle. I think the odds are greater that it won't be tackle if the plans are to sit there.

Agreed. While it may not be in the 1st, the roster is missing in both numbers and talent.

We hardly have any tackles, let alone talented ones.

If he falls that far. Newsome is a good one too.

O.city 04-14-2021 09:50 AM

I think it's more likely a WR than a CB.
