I didn't think a 12-year vet could sign for an amount that low. Isn't there a minimum wage for veterans? The poor guy is really wanting to play.

Something tells me Derrick Johnson won't even be on the team by the time the Raiders play in KC.

I dunno man, he is moving pretty good so far from what I have seen, He is worth that price alone to work with the young guys

Much ado about nothing. Players get with division "rivals" all the time at the end of their careers. The days of loyalty from player to a team or a town ended years ago, with the exception of Danny Duffy, whom most of this board wants to get rid of anyway. DJ was a great Chief and will be in the ROH. If he wants to go embarrass himself for a year or two with the Raiders, power to him. But I won't feel bad when Kelce or Hunt roast him for 6.

Exactly how I feel about it. I didn't even care that Charles signed with Denver until he started saying stuff. We are the ones who let DJ go. If he can make a few more million before retiring a Chief, good for him.

I remember when we brought in Zach Thomas, Mike Vrabel, and other broke dicks who would "work with the young guys"

He is just learning the team, before coming back to coach LMAO

DJ was a class guy. It's ironic to see him play in Oakland

If this was a guy like Sean Smith or Brandon Flowers I'd be p*ssed. But it only DJ.

And we all know what happened to Smith and Flowers. Maybe DJ will pull some reverse mojo and actually play at a pro bowl level with his new team?
