I have figured out the greatest college playoff system ever. 7 teams - progressive byes.

Hear me out.

Dec 1ish: conference championship games

Dec 8ish: 7th seed plays 6th seed

Dec 15ish: 5th seed plays winner of 6 vs. 7

Dec 22ish: 4th seed plays winner of previous round

Dec 29ish: 4 team playoff proceeds as it currently does

You have to admit that would be awesomely fun.

BWillie 12-03-2018 12:41 AM

Oklahoma does not deserve to be in the playoff. No team in the Big 12 really does. OU is going to lose by at least 5 TDs to Bama.

Any team that lets 40 points to Kansas and can barely beat Army is ****ing dog shit.

BWillie 12-03-2018 12:44 AM

Ohio State destroyed Michigan, Michigan State and Northwestern in 3 of their last 4 games. I know people hate Urban Meyer - but that shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Georgia is clearly the 2nd or 3rd best team in the country - but I get it - they have 2 losses but it isn't their fault they have to play Alabama.

BryanBusby 12-03-2018 12:47 AM

Getting waxed by LSU did them in. Just can't excuse it.

Since they insist at staying with 4 teams, they got it right this time around.

suzzer99 12-03-2018 12:54 AM

Oklahoma barely beat so many teams. If they had to play Bama everyone knows they would have lost more than Georgia.

I cannot begin to articulate how bad the Big 12 is at football, and has been, for about a decade.

Hey Rams Fan

WANDALE WANDALE

Sassy Squatch 12-05-2018 08:28 AM

Lesson learned for OSU. Don't lose by 29 to ****ing Purdue of all teams.

Yeah, because Clemson beating Pitt, Ohio State beating Northwestern, and Oklahoma beating a grossly overrated Texas team was sooo impressive.

Everyone knows GA would beat the Golden Flamers, incl you.

You don't watch the sport, dumbass. How would you know?

B1G is making a move for OU & Texas

Not gonna happen.

Mr. Flopnuts 12-06-2018 09:15 PM

Considering how disappointing this year was for UW, everything came out Roses for the Dawgs!

displacedinMN 12-06-2018 09:19 PM

Texas has ruined two conferences. BIG does not need them.

Makes a lot of sense.

Would kill the Big12 if it happened.

Sassy Squatch 12-06-2018 09:26 PM

Plan is to target them during the 2024-2025 seasons.

BryanBusby 12-06-2018 09:29 PM

I figure KU and Okie State would land in the PAC12 so they can redo its shitty setup. WVU could maybe land in the ACC after the SEC poached North Cac and VT, but man everyone else is ****ed.

As a Kstate fan I get it but you underestimate how much money the B1G has.

BryanBusby 12-06-2018 09:35 PM

The biggest issue I see is will the state of Oklahoma let OU go without taking its inbred cousin? Will they want that school?

Maybe by then Notre Dame will come around.

BryanBusby 12-06-2018 09:39 PM

Notre Dame won't have a choice if they get waxed in the playoffs again and ever want to be taken seriously again.

displacedinMN 12-06-2018 09:42 PM

18 team league. yuck.

Did the MIAA ever have 18 or just 16.?

I miss the days of Big 10 basketball with traveling partners and running the ladder.

I miss Big 8 basketball Saturdays. NEVER a dull game.

Recruits don't want to play for Mark Richt's outdated, "pro style" offense from the 1980's + the best overall recruiter on the coaching staff, DC Manny Diaz is heading to Temple.

Pablo 12-19-2018 09:18 AM

But don't they want to wear that dumbass necklace? Thought that alone would lock the state down.

Titty Meat 12-19-2018 10:05 AM

Top 20 class. Not too shabby for a 4-8 team.

Titty Meat 12-19-2018 08:56 PM

So hows everyone feeling about their teams classes?
