****.

I grew tired of watching him run outside zones straight sideways for 1 yard gains. Garbage time superstar.

Chark was a good pass catcher but that was about it. He had pretty bad vision and just bounced around or ran sideways too much. I'll pass

Yeah, so do I. He's going to be our #1 back, though as others have mentioned, Damien sure looked good today.

Anderson > West

Sassy Squatch 12-02-2018 07:27 PM

Ware was getting stopped in the backfield way too ****ing much for my liking today. Might be relegated to short yardage back.

TribalElder 12-02-2018 07:27 PM

shit, jamaar could do it as good as this guy ROFL

Chief Northman 12-02-2018 07:30 PM

Mitch Morse was not good today. I think he gets released next off-season. Reiter is more stout and cheap.

It was fascinating reading Chief Fan after Chief Fan noting that we "wouldn't miss a beat" with Ware. Ware is "just as good, if not better than, Hunt ever was."

Such utter and complete bullshit. What leads a person to believe such nonsense?

Chris Meck 12-02-2018 07:37 PM

just re-sign West. It's a no brainer, he already knows the offense.

Anyone thinking about bringing CJ in after this place ripped him as a donkey is hypocrisy at its finest.

I've always been a homer myself. I can't, though, find an argument that puts Ware in the same stratosphere as Hunt. Hunt led the league in rushing as a rookie. Ware is slow and doesn't have insane vision/balance. Enjoy.

I don't think most thought he was as good or better. But I think people believed he wouldn't be that much of a drop-off (certainly not as much as if we had lost our other key skill players). He didn't perform well today, but neither did the offensive line. And Ware only got 10% of reps in practice this past week.

I thought we'd get more production out of the RB spot today, but I'll reserve judgment until they have more time to actually craft a game plan for our new RBBC situation.

And finally, if Chiefs fans were trying to be blindly optimistic about Ware's abilities to shield them from the disappointment of the Hunt situation, who can blame them? It's been a rough few days for us all regardless which side of these debates you've been on.

When people said there wouldn't be much of a drop off, at least I was thinking of the offense as a whole. We scored 40 points today. It was fine.

I thought me pointing out that Clark had no control over us having Kareem this year was clear enough that he can't be blamed our 2018 situation. You want to talk 2019 ok but this current situation is 0% on Clark.

Anybody know why we didn’t pursue him?

Charcandrick is a Pokémon, not a RB. I don’t want him near this team.

What’s the ****ing point of keeping Darrel Williams if we don’t use him in a situation like this. We really don’t ****ing need Anderson or West

Add the best player their scouting dept knows about and is keeping tabs on. At any position. Could be from our practice squad, another team's practice squad, from the dumpster pile, wherever.

I know for a fact Charcandrick West is not that player.

I'd love this move...sure as shit as good as the two other players that are out of work.

He'd probably be pretty decent for a few games....he had that knack for getting small and falling forward.

Seeing Mahomes and him together would be surreal...the QB he never got to play with.

The NFL would have cut HUNT had the CHIEFS not done it. You really think the NFL is going to allow KH to keep playing after that video shows him kicking a woman on the ground? KH got exactly what he deserved and is his own worst enemy.

I don't know if this is anything more than bringing some guys in for healthy competition. I don't think CJ Anderson is any better than Spencer Ware. I will say though that the running backs left on the roster do lack some explosiveness.

With the RB talent of todays league Spencer Ware is pretty much a dime a dozen.

One thing Ware is extremely good at is his blocking. He’s the reason why Mahomes converted on that 40 yard bomb to Kelce

Some of you need to update your mindset and stop thinking that the Chiefs need a super-talented RB to win a Super Bowl.

Those days are done with Mahomes and they are done in the NFL in general.

Look at the parade of nondescript RB's Tom Brady has won 5 Super Bowls with.

Ware and West, we’ll be just fine. Even CJ can be dangerous on the flats.

Mecca 12-03-2018 11:49 AM

There is no need for West, that guy isn't good.

The RB position needs change after this year now. Darrell Williams is a cheap replacement for Ware, Damien Williams has a 3rd down role but the 1 has to be drafted yet again.
