So how does all this work? I have never done an online league, only thing online I have done is Call of Duty. Shit only reason I have it now is because my son is 13 and loves to play everything online

There will be the draft to construct our rosters, we’ll skip through preseason (injuries off), allowing everyone some time to make cuts and signings where necessary. I’ll release the full rules set sometime this week.

Is anyone against me just drawing names for the order of team selection?

I want to do something that is random and as fair as possible. You’d just have to take my word for it that I won’t manipulate the order, and I can assure you I won’t since it has no effect on the rosters anyway.

Once we determine that order and everyone picks their team, I’ll start sending league invites.

Any thoughts on game settings?

Thinking 10-minute quarters, minimum play clock time 20, relocation on, and for the love of god please don't set pass protection and QB accuracy too high or everyone will be balling out on offense.

I was thinking 8 minutes, but I’m open to listening to others’ opinions.

Not sure I’ll mess with the sliders or not. Maybe a little if CPU becomes unstoppable as it sometimes can with all-Madden.

QB accuracy and pass blocking should both be set to 20.

And please pick simulation style.

For user or CPU? Every time I play all madden, they can’t pass block for dick when it’s set at 50 if you’re the user.

Anyway, for both. The game is far too easy if it's set on default 50 for everything.

At 50 accuracy every QB who isn't a total slapdick will be piling up numbers.

Well odds are we will start things at 50 and see where adjustments are necessary. If everyone is dropping 30+ regularly, we’ll scale back offense, and vise versa.

I kinda agree. I'd like competition for the playoffs. If everybody starts going Falcons, Vikings, etc, it'll literally be me playing the CPU all year then running into possibly a user in the Super Bowl.

Idk man. I typically use 8 to 9 minute quarters in my franchise. The times I've used 10 minute quarters the scores and stats get a little wacky. I'm ok with it either way. 10 minute quarters does allow me to better have a full gameplan going into a game.

These games will last 1 hour each at 10 minute quarters just so everyone knows.
