I'd love that kid on my team. |
Watching the QB's today made me realize how much I'm going to miss Gruden's QB Camp.
Loved it. |
My favorite TE.

This is a classic DL type Andy looks at |

42 reps on the bench for Harrison Phillips.
Forty two. Holy shit |
Shaquem Griffin used a prosthetic hand and did 20 reps on the bench press.
Some team is going to get an extremely passionate football player. |

I still somehow hope they turn that 2019 second into a 2018 second. |
Man Shaq Griffin is such a beast and inspiration.
|
Today’s the DL/LB’s.
Chiefs will take one of these guys guaranteed. |
Quote:
He will be on full display today. |
Chubb with a 4.66 40 time.
|
Davenport with a 4.61
|
So far, Tim Settle’s combine is looking nothing like Poe’s

Griffin is an inspiration man but missing a hand....I dunno
What’s he gonna play? |
Yea Shepherd is a beast. I’d definitely consider him at 54.

I wanna keep as many of those mid rounders as possible and see what happens |
Is Taven Bryan gonna go really early? He’s legit
And I think I like Payne the best of the dl |

The pass rusher from KU might be a good pick in the 2nd for us

Taven Bryan Da’Ron Payne Harrison Phillips I think those guys go ahead of him. Am I missing anyone? |

Trenton Thompson is a possibility too. |

This is turning out to be a great class for our needs. OL, DT, CB and S is really deep. |
Seen Senat and NNadi ranked higher than Shepherd too on some pundits boards.

But you’re right, I’m very comfortable with what will be available at those positions on day 2. |

This is such a good class. ILB and WR are the only positions that I see that are weak this year.
It’s a great year to have mid round picks and I think Veach is going to try to trade guys like Steven Nelson to get additional picks. I would seriously consider trading our 2019 2nd rd pick from LA for an early 3rd this year if a guy that we love falls down the board. There is legitimate talent that will be there. Travis Kelce/Kareem Hunt/Justin Houston type of quality. |
Why trade Nelson though only to have to replace him?
It doesn’t make sense |

Kendall Fuller makes him expendable |

Trading him makes no sense from a numbers perspective. You’d have 2 corners currently that can even play |
I don’t know where the elevated draft projections for Shepherd are coming from. He played inferior competition. When I watch his tape I see an “active” player, but not a dominant one. His 4th/5th round projections are appropriate.
If the Chiefs want an impact DL player from this draft, the wheelhouse might be the late 1st to mid 2nd round. Chubb, Vea, Payne and Bryan will likely be out of range. Guys I think will be in range at 54? Phillips, Green, Settle, Nnadi, Hurst (injury drop) Bryan and Green are my two favourites. I think Settle is dropping because of his testing. |
Quote:
Corner was by far our worst position group last year. I think a complete overhaul is about to take place including a FA signing and high draft pick. |
Matt Patricia seems nice.
|
Lorenzo Carter w/ the 4.46 40 = super legit!

I wonder if Key has substance abuse issues...

If they wanna burn the corner group down and start over that’s cool, but it’s gonna be tough with what thyou I’ve got pick wise |
Lorenzo carter maybe a good fit in round 2
|
Griffin just ran an unofficial 4.38.
|
Griffin gonna get picked. What position does he play in the nfl?
|
Quote:
|
BJ Hill ran a 4.99 40
This DL class is damn good |
I think he could play the nickel lb safety role and rush the passer
|
Tremaine Edmunds ran fast
|
Josey Jewell ran a pedestrian 40 time, but I like his game. Tremendous instincts, a solid tackler in the run game, a competent blitzer when asked and decent in short zone coverage. If testing causes him to drop to late 3rd/4th, I’d hope the Chiefs consider him.

Harold Landry is annoying -
