Plenty of poll smokers still left on this site though, but nice job on quitting.

Excellent !!! Just manage those "associative triggers" that go along with smoking and you will be fine :thumb:

I started going "no sugar" back in December. I was never feeling bad prior to going off of it, but read how bad and worthless it is for you...

I am not super-strict on it. I basically don't eat sweets and avoid pop and juice. I still have stuff like peanut butter and BBQ sauce which have sugar... But since going off of it, I have lost weight. Have more energy. And just feel better in general. I have never been big on 'sweets' so it hasn't been very difficult.

I also tried the gluten thing for about a month last year...THAT SUCKED SHIT. Bread and Pasta are some of my favoritest things in the world! And the gluten-free bread and pasta is nothing more than cardboard. I lost an easy 15 lbs. that month without even trying.

Stopped smoking September 24. After 30 years of 2 packs a day, I don't miss it.

Good for all of you that have quit. It's a terrible addiction that destroys so many. Quit cold turkey 34 years ago and still regret smoking around others years ago. Can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke today. Watched my mom die ten yeas ago with end of life COPD. Hang in there all of you that have and are trying to quit. You can do it.

That's awesome news! But I suppose your good fortune has simply led some tobacco farmer to drink!
