So as a rough guess, assume that he loses 5% to an agent and then 40% to taxes. That would make his take home about 5 million.

Let's assume that he's living the good life but not extremely extravagant. So maybe he's spending $250,000 a year over the past 8 years. As a really rough guess, that means that he's got about $3 million in the bank, without taking the time to calculate investment returns.

Losing $100,000 in jewelry is going to hurt. I wonder if it was insured.

It's his money, of course, but I sure don't understand why somebody wants to wear $100,000 in jewelry. If I was making his money, I would probably own a $300 watch and nothing else. Other than my plot to seize the crown in England, I just have no interest in that sort of thing.

That's true.

Pretty impressive that the guy's just carved out a career for himself like that.

Pretty sad that he would be the most productive WR on this team.

These things are usually somewhat of an inside job. Friend of a friend. Stuff like that.

Poor guy apparently he can’t catch a break either

George Liquor 10-21-2023 06:01 PM

Did he try running backwards and away from his robber?

kepp2 10-21-2023 06:45 PM

That sucks for him. I bet he wound up in a bad part of town when he went the wrong way.
