If it’s 8 month recovery and the Chiefs win today, you are looking at October 2019. So he might miss the first 5 games. Beats the hell out of the situation we saw this season.

Would have missed this season if he had the surgery when the issue popped at camp.

Was a known issue over a year ago, don't kid yourself.

Likely got worse. He always just played on it before and probably thought he could this season too.

So we get him for a little more than half of his 6 year contract. Wonderful!

How about we find out what the time table is before we start bitching, mmkay? You have plenty of time to bitch. Save it for another day.

He's always has heel problems that he played through. It decame basically unplayable a little bit before or during training camp last year

My guess is that either the chiefs or Berry were reluctant to have the surgery, and the injury was much more nagging throughout the season than they expected

Or they were nervous about being out essentially two consecutive seasons, which pretty much happened anyway

My guess is that they thought it would heal. That he could play on it this season with some R&R like in years past. And that never happened.

It's all good.

As you mentioned above Wall played on his for 4-5 seasons until he said he couldn't take the pain anymore or that he didn't want to be traded so he had the surgery.

Less than it would be if the ACL snaps. They cut the ACL and reattach it surgically after breaking out the Dremel and sanding down the Haglund.

My spirit approves.

BossChief 01-20-2019 10:38 AM

It has nothing to do with an acl

Saw that too!

I thought the Hagland surgery was a 4-month recovery? It’s not a full Achilles surgery

RunKC 01-20-2019 10:43 AM

He needs to have his surgeon picked out ASAP. Get that shit done immediately after the season is over.
