It's the hometown of Eminem, so I guess it has that going for it.

Wouldn’t you want them to be below par? Fewer strokes is always the cheaper option

Me thinks you don't know how it works

What St. Joseph really needs is a old taco bell or pizza hut to be a payday loans place. Shit would solve alot of problems

You can get money WHEN YOU NEED IT! What's the downside? MIRITE?

ptlyon 07-30-2019 09:44 AM

Gotta roll large with fat stacks in St. Joe.

Right Joe?

St. Jo's downtown was somewhat underwhelming. Jake's Steakhouse and Bar was packed, tho, and wasn't bad. They served a pale ale made in St. Jo that was fine! We typically try to sample local eateries when "out of town".

Not many are going to understand that, but I do. lol.

St. Joe has been attempting to revamp the downtown area for the past 5 years, and while It's getting better... it's not moving as quickly as say.... North Kansas City.

A person driving in from Kansas City to watch Chiefs training camp does not really see much of St. Joe. I've been there several times for camp but have really only seen the Missouri Western State University campus, which is nice, and the McDonald's/Sinclair stop. Also have driven by Mosaic Life Center medical center. As a kid, I've been to some of the museums there. I need to spend more time there and look around.

It's really a typical town. The standout perk being the parkway system that has a beautiful drive/walk/ride from one end of town to the other.

Maybe not with the pricing, but still, if I’m paying for it, you should be able to professionally finish under 72 strokes. :)
