We know the writers can construct a long detailed gripping narrative, and these early episodes are like walking outside Oklahoma Joe's smelling the smoke emanating from it. |

It's just baffling to imagine what the hell is going to happen to make Jimmy into Saul. This last episode appears to be the first real step.
I'm also wondering what's going to happen with Tuco's guy and the revenge plot. |

While good Saul is somewhat refreshing, I'm really looking forward to his rise to King Sleazeball

I love this show but have to catch up on two episodes I missed due to travel. It's great that AMC has them online to watch full episodes.

Also, I was thinking about this, and think there was a subtle character cue implanted by the writers.
Saul is always parking in the court parking He's always leaving an empty lot He always needs more stickers than he has I think they were consciously trying to establish Jimmy from the very first as a go getter who burns the midnight oil. So long as he's been an attorney, he hasn't been a slouch. |
Just can't wait to see what happens with his girl and brother since they were not in bb

I love that he had the bob barker microphone for bingo.

I'm loving the internal struggle to not go back to the "Slippin' Jimmy" days. If $300,000 won't make him do it, what will?
