While we're delaying what feels like the inevitable: You get to add 60 million AAV this off-season to fix the Royals for 2025 and beyond. How are you approaching it?

To be honest, Yuri has been our 3rd best hitter since we got him. He should not have been pinch hit for by anyone in that situation. It's not as if Finneagan has crazy lefty/righty splits.

Not sure there's a real answer for the leadoff thing. You could put Bobby there but it's not like you can put anyone behind him who's hitting with RISP right now. Garcia could go back to leadoff maybe because he steals bases and does strikeout slightly less than some of these other guys but his OBP is only .283 so not great.

Clone Bobby 7 times?

I'm not sure what the harm in bringing up John Rave up. He leads the AAA team in walks and has right around a .350 OBP. He has 63 extra base hits and 17 SBs.

Drew Waters deserves another shot as well.

The bullpen has actually been okay since they shelved Stratton and McArthur. Bubic, Lynch, Zerpa and Cruz have been pitching well and now they're going to add Marsh.

Even Schreiber hasn't given up a run since Sept. 1st. Literally every run he's allowed in the 2nd half of the season was in that horrible Astros series. He was a disaster during that series but outside of that he has a 0.00 ERA in the second half.

Buying a bullpen is a double edged sword. I feel like that's where the GMs in baseball make their money because you can get value.

At the same time, it's also a bad place to spend money because of the volatility of the position.

Get some people who can hit and get on base for Bobby Witt. Maybe add another power bat for behind Bobby

This is why the people complaining about Q for his lineups and wanting him fired are joke. Same thing about people complaining about bullpen usage. He's very limited on options right now for lineup construction because outside of one guy they all stink and the bullpen has sucked for most of the year. His options are very limited.
