Miller doesn’t need any help with a wide strike zone ump

Cutty lined out. Strike 2 was the BS one.

Can't say we haven't had chances to tie or take the lead....we just forget how to put the bat on the ball when we have those chances....literally

TomBarndtsTwin 04-06-2018 04:40 PM

Millers a good enough pitcher on his own. It’s damn near impossible when he’s getting bullshit strike calls to help him out.

Oh well. Not like it matters in the long run, I guess.

Against Andrew ****ing Miller. Not surprising really. Cutty got ****ed though.

Any reason why you wouldn't pinch-run Orlando here?

siberian khatru 04-06-2018 04:56 PM

Well, the Royals had their opportunities as they continue their annoying habit of busting out in the 1st and then doing squat the rest of the way.

Good pitching outside the 1st, that's a positive.

Scratch that, I’m watching behind.

I hate early April baseball in northern cities. The players look like they are dressed for the Iditarod race.

Royals should have stayed in the AL West.

Aaron Judge AAA 2016 OPS .854 (at 24 yrs old)
Jorge Soler AAA 2017 OPS .952 (at 24-25 yrs old)

Come laugh at the end of the season. We don't want to give up on someone like that one team did with JD Martinez.

Speaking of Jose Altuve, read a little this morning about a similarly pint-sized 2B in the Royals system.

Rudy Martin is 5-7. Fairly meh career thus far but has good speed and has consistently shown a knack for getting on base.

He’s at Wilmington this year, so he will be easy to follow (as Rivera and Lee are both there).

He apparently has a little pop. If he can keep getting on base and swiping bags, could become a legit prospect.

Was not aware he had an option:
