Almonte is hurt. This is getting him off the 40 man roster. More than likely will clear waivers.

It's officially a bummer that internal scouts with the Royals convinced the FO to ship Manaea over Almonte in 2015.

Almonte has A+ stuff. Like really electric stuff. You can see why they like him. Manaea was always the more polished pitcher though. Almonte's only 24 though. I wouldn't completely rule him finished.
